- the crucial aspect of male allyship in fostering inclusivity; and
- the essence of leading others and knowing ourselves.
Learning from Minister Fu's experience, participants will be empowered to advocate for change and cultivate supportive environments for women in Singapore and beyond.
Empowering voices and embracing diverse perspectives form the cornerstone of fostering inclusivity across all facets of society. Join our diverse panel discussion featuring voices from non-profit, corporate and public sectors in Singapore. This dialogue aims to:
1) Raise awareness on inclusivity-related issues – highlighting disparities and barriers hindering women’s full participation and advancement across sectors/industries;
2) Explore existing initiatives – discussing ongoing initiatives while assessing their impact, addressing challenges in workplace diversity, community engagement and representation;
3) Ignite advocacy for a better future – encouraging a proactive stance in advocating for further advancements in inclusivity and equity;
4) Activate change agents – empowering inclusive actions as individuals
The Human Library segment offers an intimate platform to encourage authentic dialogues between the speaker and the audience across five diverse topics:
1) Fostering inclusivity practices at workplaces: Discussions around the Why-s and How-s of employee engagement groups, gender or community focused networks, hiring practices, and/or measuring inclusivity success;
2) Becoming an inclusive leader: Discussions around core values, essential skills and practical approaches on applying inclusive leadership in both professional and personal contexts
3) Promoting male allyship in inclusivity: Discussions around exploring the role of male allies in fostering inclusivity, and strategies for encouraging allyship
4) Empowering the underrepresented voices: Discussions on how individuals can inspire a commitment to actively support and amplify underrepresented voices, contributing to societal inclusivity and equity
5) Breaking inclusivity barriers: Discussions around exploring transferable concepts that individuals and organisations can apply to contribute towards breaking barriers/ stereotypes to foster inclusivity within their spheres of influence.
Designed to be a safe space with dedicated speaker(s) for each topic, this segment aims to ignite change around inclusivity through transformative conversations consisting of knowledge and experience exchange.
