YWLC's Diversity in Womanhood event returns this year, with a focus on "What's In It For You?"
The benefits of implementing DEI* policies and initiatives are loud and clear: better recruitment and retention, more sustainable profitability, and more robust innovation output. However, much of this is still driven top-down. DEI policies, while crucial, cannot on their own drive change.
We believe that we can make bigger strides if we, as individuals, did our part to create a supportive and accepting culture within our society. This could be through showing up as allies for others, or simply recognising and being aware of our own unconscious biases. As women, we are multifaceted; bias and discrimination exists beyond gender.
Join us for an evening of conversations where participants will get to explore their privilege and power, understand the different types of biases that may exist, and also be invited to share and listen to personal stories and experiences. By the end of the evening, participants will also take with them tangible steps on how they will contribute to the DEI movement in their personal and professional lives.
This is a timely conversation with International Women's Day around the corner, and is a great opportunity for participants to understand how they can #EmbraceEquity this year!
All conversations will be conducted by facilitators from the YWLC D&I Team in a confidential and safe environment.
Limited slots are available so do sign up now! Refreshments and light bites will be provided.
