Jayne Tan
Jayne is a UX content design professional with almost 10 years in the tech industry. She built and managed Facebook Singapore's first UX content design team in the Ads & Business Products organization. She started her career at Burpple, Singapore's leading food discovery platform, where she led the growth team as VP, Content & Community for 7+ years. She studied Psychology at Nanyang Technological University, and represented the Singapore Women's Basketball Team at the 2015 and 2017 SEA Games. She seeks adventure, travelling Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Iran, Bosnia & Herzegovina, India and hopefully many more soon. On weekends, Jayne teaches cooking classes out of her home kitchen. She is on a mission to remove people's fear of cooking and inspire a change in how we nourish ourselves and others.
Heidi Soedarmo
Heidi is a Senior UX Researcher at Facebook in the Business Integrity space. With a career spanning over a decade, she's worked for both startups and multinationals, alternating between individual contributor and management roles. Previously, she was the head of User Research at Farfetch, the world's leading luxury fashion tech platform, where she built and grew the user research department from scratch. She has run research projects across Asia, Europe, The Americas, and Australia, studying people's behaviour and how it translates into their interaction with technology. She holds an MSc from the Delft University of Technology.
In her free time, she puts a lot of effort into positive training to build a communication line between herself and her lovely dog, Miso.
