Tea Break & Interaction with Community Booth Partners
Human Library: Taking The Leap in Driving Impact (2 Rounds)

The Human Library segment offers an intimate platform to encourage authentic dialogues between the speaker and the audience across six diverse topics:

1) Taking the Leap Globally: Navigating and Bridging Cultural Norms
In this discussion group, we hope to encourage open discussions around understanding gender equity from an international lens at the workplace. Besides recognising that many challenges and opportunities emanate from cultural norms and systems specific to each society and region, we hope to encourage discussions around practical tips to deepen understanding and knowledge of these differences and how to effectively manage them.

2) Addressing Intersectionality in Leadership: Overcoming Biases and Fostering Inclusive Environments
In this discussion group, we hope to encourage open discussions around the role of race, religion, gender and how it impacts equity in the workplace. It will highlight the challenges faced by leaders due to conscious and unconscious bias, as well as offer actionable strategies to individuals on how they can intentionally create an equitable environment for all to thrive.

3) Navigating Life Transitions: Normalising Change and Advancing Equity
In this discussion group, we hope to encourage open discussions on life’s transitions, normalising these shifts, and fostering an inclusive environment that supports women at every stage of their journey.

4) Transitioning to Leadership: Your Inner Skeptic as a Leadership Asset
In this discussion group, we hope to encourage open discussions around the unique challenges women face during the leadership transition phase, such as overcoming self-doubt, managing workplace dynamics, and balancing empathy with assertiveness. The discussion also aims to impart individuals with practical strategies to embrace the discomfort of new challenges and the transform mindset to lead with conviction and openness.

5) Building a Personal Board of Directors: Strategies for Creating Your Support System
In this discussion group, we hope to encourage open discussions around building a strong support system that allows individuals to amplify their voice in the pursuit of gender equity. The dialogue aims to unpack practical strategies that have worked in real-world scenarios: how to map network gaps and identify missing expertise and craft authentic outreach, transform casual connections into committed advisory relationships and how to maintain these vital relationships.

6) Sustaining Progress: Embracing Leadership and Preventing Burnout
In this discussion group, we hope to encourage open discussions around the challenges of taking the leap into leadership roles while striving to maintain balance over the long run. It emphasises the need for fostering equitable leadership approaches that prioritise well-being and inclusivity, empowering individuals to step into these roles with confidence and support.

Designed to be a safe space with a dedicated speaker for each topic, this segment aims to ignite change and drive positive impact in advancing equity through transformative conversations with a rich exchange of knowledge and experience.
