[FOR MEMBERS IN YWLC'S MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME 2020/2021 ONLY]
Mentors and Mentees are invited to join in our upcoming Council of Advisors' Gathering, where we will be incorporating a Women Development Conversations session – focusing on the topic, "Women in the Workplace: Leadership and Beyond". The session format will consist of break-out groups followed by main-room sharing.
This session is also held in conjunction with the government's launch of "Conversations on Singapore's Women's Development" – a series of public engagements to gather feedback and recommendations on issues affecting Singapore women at Home, Workplaces, Schools and in the Community (launched on 20th September 2020 by Mr K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law – https://tinyurl.com/3cyknvyh; co-led by Minister of State for Social and Family Development Sun Xueling and YWLC mentor).
Feedback and recommendations from the session will be consolidated and submitted to the Government in the form of a white paper.
We are also glad to have Minister Grace Fu, Lead Advisor to YWLC, as our Guest-of-Honour, to join in this virtual session.
